The USS Wyoming Foundation is a tax exempt foundation created in June 2022 to provide financial assistance to current and former sailors of the USS Wyoming (SSBN 742) and financial assistance to Wyoming families through local charities across the state.
Our current initiatives include:
Collaboration with the Boys and Girls Club of Cheyenne to provide backpacks to the children of Cheyenne. In 2021, we provided 100 backpacks to children across the city of Cheyenne.
Provide college scholarships to current or former sailors children of the USS Wyoming.
Provide a yearly donation to the USS Wyoming Gold and Blue crew recreational funds.
